Because Only Together We Can

BUILD stronger communities and bring positive change

WHO WE ARE

Thank you for taking time to visit our site.

We welcome you to the Values Essential Foundation NJ-NY (IHFNJNY) where we strive to reflect a message of peace, harmony and service in action that is inspired by the teachings of A.C Bhaktivedanta Swami Srila Prabhupada, a well-known modern Vedic scholar. We will preserve, present, practice and promote Indian traditions and values through the arts and cultural events. We accomplish this by fulfilling our mission to support physical, mental, and spiritual well-being through acts of service to strengthen community, cultivate peace for all and promote an appreciation for Indian culture and values. Our programs and services are rooted in helping every individual find their place and/ or state of happiness. We aim to be inclusive reaching children, adults and families from all socioeconomic groups, races, cultures, and religions.
IHFNJNY has served Middlesex County with a strong focus on the Edison area since 2014. As a Hindu temple and cultural community center, we build individuals and families to create vibrant communities instilling valuable life lessons, promoting healthy living principles, address food insecurity and basic needs for those in need and preserve Indian culture, classics, and the arts. Each year we serve over 30,000 residents through our various programs and events. We embrace all who enter our doors.
